Tale is an MIT-licensed, self-hostable workspace where people and AI agents work on shared project tasks. Teams keep briefs, discussions, project knowledge, reports, and delivered files together. Each agent can use a chosen runtime, model, skills, and tools. A manager agent can delegate ready tasks, while persistent sandbox workspaces preserve working files and context. People follow progress and review results. Use cases include research, document review, reports, marketing materials, and software delivery. Community is free to self-host; a paid managed Cloud service is also available.
