About NemoClaw

NemoClaw is an open-source stack from NVIDIA designed to simplify running always-on AI assistants securely. It installs the NVIDIA OpenShell runtime—part of the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit—and provides a sandboxed environment for autonomous agents powered by models like NVIDIA Nemotron. The platform orchestrates several components including a CLI plugin, a versioned blueprint system, and a containerized sandbox that enforces strict policies around network access, filesystem operations, and inference routing. Every request made by an agent—such as network calls or model inference—is governed by declarative security policies. Developers can launch and manage agents using the nemoclaw CLI, connect through a terminal interface, and route model inference through NVIDIA cloud APIs, local NIM deployments, or vLLM setups. The system emphasizes secure execution with layered protections like network egress control, filesystem isolation, and restricted system calls. Supported featuresAgents
