About Jules

Jules is an AI-powered coding agent designed to take on real software tasks end-to-end—so developers can spend more time building and less time on busywork. You give Jules a GitHub repo (or assign it an issue), write a detailed prompt, and it will fetch your code, create a plan, make changes, run or generate tests, and produce a pull request for review. Jules works inside a cloud virtual machine where it clones your repository and verifies changes, helping reduce “it works on my machine” surprises. It supports GitHub integration for branch-based workflows and PR creation, plus the ability to run existing test suites or add new ones when needed. You can use Jules from the CLI or integrate it into custom workflows via an API, making it flexible for individual devs and teams. Jules offers multiple plans to match different workloads—from everyday fixes to high-throughput, parallel agent development with higher model access and more concurrent tasks.
