About Framedrop.gg

Framedrop.gg is an AI-powered tool designed to help content creators, particularly streamers and gamers, easily identify and share the best moments from their live streams or recorded videos. Its core purpose is to automate the process of finding and creating highlight clips, significantly reducing the time and effort involved in content repurposing. The primary goal of Framedrop is to streamline content creation by automating the identification of highlight moments within video content. This allows creators to quickly generate short-form videos for various social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels, all without extensive manual editing. Framedrop uses AI to analyze videos, identifying key segments based on factors like audience engagement and content relevance. These identified highlights can then be easily edited and exported to different social media channels. Framedrop offers several key features, including automatic highlight detection using advanced AI algorithms. It also provides smart editing tools for trimming clips, adjusting layouts (including horizontal to vertical conversion), and adding subtitles. The platform supports content from Twitch and YouTube, allowing direct export to various social media platforms. Framedrop offers fast video processing and simplifies social media sharing, supporting content types beyond gaming, such as podcasts, interviews, and talks. Framedrop has a variety of applications for different types of content creators, such as streamers looking to create highlight reels, gamers wanting to produce short-form videos, podcasters/interviewers aiming to extract and share compelling content, and other content creators seeking to repurpose longer-form content. Compared to similar tools, Framedrop offers faster processing times and higher video quality, with 1080p available in the free plan. It also features a cleaner user interface and does not require signup for initial use. As a cloud-based service, Framedrop doesn't require software installation; users only need to provide a video URL for processing. Framedrop integrates with content pipelines and CMS systems, allowing for seamless workflow integration. Framedrop has received several awards and recognitions, including Best Pitch 2025 in the Sports & Media Category, 1st Place for Best Pilot in the Media Open Call, Most Promising Startup (Entrepreneurship Awards 2024), and Most Promising Startup by Startup Portugal. Framedrop is actively developing new AI-driven video editing features like smooth trimming and dynamic filters, along with auto-edit capabilities, manual import options and more advanced subtitle customization.
