Key Rules

DO:

• Use standardized event names from @akson/​cortex-utilities
• Test in GTM preview mode before publishing
• Create backups before changes
• Validate configuration after updates

DON'T:

• Mix lead generation and e-commerce event systems
• Use hardcoded event names
• Deploy without testing
• Skip validation step

Common Patterns

Add GA4 Event Tag

1. Create trigger for the event
2. Create GA4 Event tag
3. Set event name and parameters
4. Test in preview mode
5. Publish container

Add Google Ads Conversion

1. Get conversion ID and label
2. Create conversion linker tag
3. Create conversion tag with trigger
4. Test conversion tracking
