Instructions

Step 1: Secure OAuth2 Implementation

// Secure token management
interface TokenConfig {
  clientId: string;
  clientSecret: string;
  hubUrl: string;
  scope: string;
}

class SecureTokenManager {
  private token: string | null = null;
  private tokenExpiry: Date | null = null;
  private refreshPromise: Promise<string> | null = null;

  constructor(private config: TokenConfig) {}

  async getToken(): Promise<string> {
    // Return cached token if valid
    if (this.isTokenValid()) {
      return this.token!;
    }

    // Prevent concurrent refresh requests
    if (this.refreshPromise) {
      return this.refreshPromise;
    }

    this.refreshPromise = this.refreshToken();
    try {
      const token = await this.refreshPromise;
      return token;
    } finally {
      this.refreshPromise = null;
    }
  }

  private async refreshToken(): Promise<string> {
    const response = await fetch(`${this.config.hubUrl}/oauth/token`, {
      method: 'POST',
      headers: {
        'Content-Type': 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded'
      },
      body: new URLSearchParams({
        grant_type: 'client_credentials',
        client_id: this.config.clientId,
        client_secret: this.config.clientSecret,
        scope: this.config.scope
      })
    });

    if (!response.ok) {
      throw new Error(`Token refresh failed: ${response.status}`);
    }

    const data = await response.json();
    this.token = data.access_token;
    // Set expiry with 60-second buffer
    this.tokenExpiry = new Date(Date.now() + (data.expires_in - 60) * 1000);

    return this.token;
  }

  private isTokenValid(): boolean {
    return this.token !== null &&
           this.tokenExpiry !== null &&

  }

Step 2: JWT Validation

// Validate JWT tokens (for webhook receivers or internal services)
import jwt from 'jsonwebtoken';
import jwksClient from 'jwks-rsa';

      jwksUri: config.jwksUri,
      cache: true,
      cacheMaxAge: 600000, // 10 minutes
      rateLimit: true
    });
  }

  async validateToken(token: string): Promise<jwt.JwtPayload> {
    const decoded = jwt.decode(token, { complete: true });
    if (!decoded || !decoded.header.kid) {
      throw new Error('Invalid token format');
    }

    const publicKey = await this.getSigningKey(decoded.header.kid);

    return new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
      jwt.verify(
        token,

        },
        (err, payload) => {
          if (err) {
            reject(new Error(`Token validation failed: ${err.message}`));
          } else {
            resolve(payload as jwt.JwtPayload);
          }
        }
      );
    });
  }

  private async getSigningKey(kid: string): Promise<string> {
    if (this.keyCache.has(kid)) {
      return this.keyCache.get(kid)!;
    }

    const key = await this.jwksClient.getSigningKey(kid);
    const publicKey = key.getPublicKey();
    this.keyCache.set(kid, publicKey);

Step 3: Configure API Roles
