hermes-host
Deployment bundle for running a Hermes Agent gateway on free, credit-card-free hosting.
Targets:
- Red Hat OpenShift Developer Sandbox (14 GB RAM, 40 GB storage, HTTPS route, 30 days, no card)
→
k8s/openshift.yaml+deploy-openshift.sh - Render free web service (512 MB, 750 h/month, no card, spins down after 15 min idle)
→
render.yaml - any Docker host — the image is self-contained
The container keeps nothing important on its own disk: on boot it restores ~/.hermes
from a private Hugging Face dataset (or a mounted PVC) and pushes it back on a timer,
so restarts, rebuilds and reschedules lose no state.
