tanikanti/custom-rag-embeddings
custom-rag-embeddings is a sentence similarity model from tanikanti. Use it when you need a score for how close two texts are. It is set up for sentence-transformers.

From the Hugging Face model README
This is a sentence-transformers model finetuned from sentence-transformers/all-MiniLM-L6-v2. It maps sentences & paragraphs to a 384-dimensional dense vector space and can be used for semantic textual similarity, semantic search, paraphrase mining, text classification, clustering, and more.

First install the Sentence Transformers library:
pip install -U sentence-transformers
Then you can load this model and run inference.
from sentence_transformers import SentenceTransformer
# Download from the 🤗 Hub
model = SentenceTransformer("tanikanti/custom-rag-embeddings")
# Run inference
sentences = [
'Thai opposition protesters begin Bangkok shutdown',
"Thai protesters launch Bangkok 'shutdown'",
'China stock index futures close lower -- Jan. 24',
]
embeddings = model.encode(sentences)
print(embeddings.shape)
# [3, 384]
# Get the similarity scores for the embeddings
similarities = model.similarity(embeddings, embeddings)
print(similarities)
# tensor([[1.0000, 0.7652, 0.0586],
# [0.7652, 1.0000, 0.1699],
# [0.0586, 0.1699, 1.0000]])
