GEN-AI Text Summarizer Model

This is a copy of sshleifer/distilbart-cnn-12-6, a distilled BART model fine-tuned for text summarization, hosted here as part of my GenAI portfolio project.

Project

This model powers a Gradio-based summarization app with two features: - Text Summarizer: paste any text to get a summary - YouTube Summarizer: paste a YouTube URL to get a summary of the video's transcript Full source code, including the Gradio interface and setup instructions, is on GitHub:

Code: pankaj18052005/AI_text-summarization

Usage

from transformers import pipeline

summarizer = pipeline("summarization", model="pankaj1805/GEN-AI_text-summarizer-model")
summary = summarizer("Your long text here...")
print(summary[0]['summary_text'])

Credit

All credit for the original model architecture and training goes to sshleifer. This repo simply re-hosts the model as part of a learning project on building and deploying GenAI applications.
