Ideogram 4 · MFlux BF16

This is a BF16 MFlux version of ideogram-4-fp8.

MFlux runs the latest state-of-the-art generative image models locally on your Mac in native MLX. MFlux is open source and free.

Converted on 2026-08-21.

BF16 is the full-precision MLX build -- no quantization. Use it as the highest-fidelity reference, or pass --quantize to quantize on the fly.

Usage

Install MFlux

uv tool install --upgrade mflux

Generate an image using ideogram-4-fp8 BF16:

mflux-generate-ideogram4 \
  --model mflux-community/ideogram-4-mflux-bf16 \
  --base-model ideogram-4-fp8 \
  --prompt "A puffin standing on a cliff" \
  --width 1024 \
  --height 1024 \
  --seed 42 \
  --output image.png

The weights are downloaded from this repo on first use. To keep a local copy instead:

hf download mflux-community/ideogram-4-mflux-bf16 --local-dir ./ideogram-4-mflux-bf16

then pass --model ./ideogram-4-mflux-bf16.

License

This repo inherits the license of the original model: ideogram-4-non-commercial. See the original model card for the full terms and any usage restrictions. The weights here were modified from the original release only by conversion to MLX.
