Prompt Template

Mahsher AI uses ChatML as the prompt format, opening up a much more structured system for engaging the LLM in multi-turn chat dialogue.

System prompts are now a thing that matters! Masher AI was trained to be able to utilize system prompts from the prompt to more strongly engage in instructions that span over many turns.

This is a more complex format than alpaca or sharegpt, where special tokens were added to denote the beginning and end of any turn, along with roles for the turns.

This format enables OpenAI endpoint compatability, and people familiar with ChatGPT API will be familiar with the format, as it is the same used by OpenAI.

Fine-Tuning Details

Masher AI v6.1 has been meticulously fine-tuned to enhance its performance and adaptability further. The fine-tuning process involved the use of two distinct datasets:

• glaiveai/glaive-code-assistant-v3 (100k split): This dataset has improved the model's all around coding abilities.

• Vezora/Tested-143k-Python-Alpaca: To imprve the model's Python programming abilities.

• ajibawa-2023/Code-290k-ShareGPT: To improve the model coding abilities EVEN MORE!!!!

• teknium/openhermes: To improve conversational abilities and keep keep coding abilities intact.

The fine-tuning was executed over 600 steps for each dataset, utilizing the computational power of an RTX A2000 graphics card. This process has significantly enhanced the model's performance, ensuring a high degree of precision and reliability in its outputs.
