guipa01/best-telos-model
best-telos-model is a sentence similarity model from guipa01. Use it when you need a score for how close two texts are. It is set up for sentence-transformers.
This is a sentence-transformers model finetuned from sentence-transformers/multi-qa-MiniLM-L6-cos-v1. It maps sentences & paragraphs to a 384-dimensional dense vector space and can be used for retrieval.

First install the Sentence Transformers library:
pip install -U sentence-transformers
Then you can load this model and run inference.
from sentence_transformers import SentenceTransformer
# Download from the 🤗 Hub
model = SentenceTransformer("sentence_transformers_model_id")
# Run inference
sentences = [
'Um menino e uma menina estão brincando do lado de fora da academia',
'O menino e a menina estão brincando na academia ao ar livre',
'Uma chita está correndo rapidamente atrás de sua presa',
]
embeddings = model.encode(sentences)
print(embeddings.shape)
# [3, 384]
# Get the similarity scores for the embeddings
similarities = model.similarity(embeddings, embeddings)
print(similarities)
# tensor([[1.0000, 0.9019, 0.4734],
# [0.9019, 1.0000, 0.4357],
# [0.4734, 0.4357, 1.0000]])
