gaurabdas/pricelab-qwen3-0.6b
pricelab-qwen3-0.6b is a text generation model from gaurabdas. Use it when you need the model to write or continue text. It is set up for transformers.
By Gaurab Das. This standalone model merges the improved PriceLab LoRA adapter into Qwen3-0.6B. It estimates historical whole-dollar USD prices from English product descriptions; it does not search current listings.

From the Hugging Face model README
By Gaurab Das. This standalone model merges the improved PriceLab LoRA adapter into Qwen3-0.6B. It estimates historical whole-dollar USD prices from English product descriptions; it does not search current listings.
Release: improved fine-tuned version, merged into standalone float32 weights.
Local merge verification matched all 104 comparison cases; see verification.json.
Gaurab's PriceLab project includes dataset auditing and preprocessing, completion-only QLoRA training, traditional baselines, investigation of repeated predictions, validation-based selection, evaluation and an interactive comparison application. This is adaptation of an existing pretrained model, not foundation-model pretraining.

seed 42, sequence limit 256, completion-only loss. The standalone export is float32. Merging incorporates learned adapter updates; it does not perform additional training. No adapter files are needed to load it.
These are existing adapter-based GPU-float16 results, not a new full evaluation of the merged float32 export. The 1,000-product test benchmark was examined during earlier experiments and is not an untouched holdout. MAE means average absolute price error; lower is better.
| Model | Test MAE (USD) | Test RMSE (USD) | Within 20% |
|---|---|---|---|
| Initial fine-tuned version | 80.08 | 137.17 | 20.2% |
| TF-IDF + Ridge reference | 76.17 | 118.08 | 21.4% |
| Improved fine-tuned version | 68.05 | 118.97 | 24.0% |
Improved-version numeric coverage was 1,000/1,000, median absolute error $40, and
test MAE reduction 15.03%. Traditional baseline results are historical references,
not newly refitted models. Local merge checks are recorded in verification.json;
they establish sampled compatibility, not a new quality benchmark.
Use Transformers 4.57.6 and PyTorch 2.9.1, as in the verified environment.
Set PRICELAB_MODEL to the local export until publication. After publication,
set PRICELAB_REVISION to the published commit for reproducibility.
The prompt, non-thinking chat format, truncation and decoding below match PriceLab.
