A machine learning model that predicts whether event ticket prices will go UP or DOWN based on historical data and market conditions.

• Algorithm: Random Forest Classifier (100 trees, max depth 10)

How to Use

1. Select an event from the dropdown
2. Enter ticket details (section, row, current price)
3. Set the number of days until the event
4. Click "Predict Price Movement" to get the prediction

The model provides:

• Binary prediction (UP/DOWN)
• Probability scores for each direction
• Actionable recommendations based on confidence levels

Training Data

• Fully Synthetic Data: Model trained on 100% synthetic/generated data
• Simulated Events: Uses real artist/team names (Coldplay, Lady Gaga, NFL teams) but all pricing data is artificially generated
• 1,750+ synthetic ticket records across 10 simulated events
• Simulated price tracking over 7-day periods
• Multiple venues and seating sections (all synthetic)

Important Note

This is a demonstration model trained entirely on synthetic data for educational purposes. All ticket prices, trends, and patterns are artificially generated and do not reflect real market conditions. The model demonstrates machine learning concepts but should not be used for actual ticket purchasing decisions.
