From the Hugging Face model README
AcehXBERT is a transformer-based language model developed specifically for the Acehnese language, built using the BERT architecture. This model was created to support NLP research and applications for low-resource Indonesian local languages, particularly Acehnese.
Base model : IndoBERT-base-p1
Pretraining objective : Masked Language Modeling (MLM)
Task : Acehnese language modeling and downstream NLP
Language : Acehnese (ace)
Params : 113.2M
The model is generated via continued pretraining (domain adaptive pretraining / DAPT) on AcehX corpus.
from transformers import AutoTokenizer, AutoModelForMaskedLM, pipeline
model_name = "doniNlp/AcehXBERT-base"
tokenizer = AutoTokenizer.from_pretrained(model_name)
model = AutoModelForMaskedLM.from_pretrained(model_name)
AcehXBERT_mlm = pipeline(
"fill-mask",
model=model,
tokenizer=tokenizer,
top_k=1
)
AcehXBERT_mlm("pat meurumpok [MASK] nyan")
This model is suitable for fine-tuning in tasks such as:
Sentiment Analysis
Text Classification
Named Entity Recognition (NER)
Extractive Question Answering (SQuAD)
Semantic Similarity
A large unlabeled Acehnese corpus collected from:
