YNSScarSaiyan/beerus-b200-checkpoints
beerus-b200-checkpoints is a machine learning model from YNSScarSaiyan. Use it for the machine learning task on the model card, and read the license before you ship it in a product. It is set up for pytorch. The card lists the license as other.

From the Hugging Face model README
Beerus is an experimental byte-level recurrent model coupled to a persistent coherence graph. Beerus is the receiving model and answer owner. It is not BulmaX: any BulmaX-derived material named in an artifact is source provenance, not an identity, persona, or model transfer.
This repository is an artifact store rather than a drop-in
transformers.AutoModel package. The current durable Beerus system has three
separately versioned layers:
The current durable anchor is
beerus_qwen_distill_step000684020.safetensors.
Its serialized model topology, rather than inherited generic trainer fields,
is the authority for the shape below.
| Property | Durable value |
|---|---|
| Training step | 684,020 |
| Loaded neural parameters | 187,377,098 |
| Checkpoint size | 2,453,304,496 bytes |
| Checkpoint SHA-256 | dc8a81657e0fb500eb5a80e71e0640249979d88ec9b3431ececdaff9af75809b |
| Byte vocabulary | 259 symbols |
| Model width | 768 |
| Recurrent memory | one-layer GRU |
| Swarm cells | 456 |
| Sensory / internal / motor cells | 196 / 228 / 32 |
| Cell hidden width | 128 |
| Swarm pods | 11 |
| Conductivity tubes | 3,595 |
| Swarm hops / deliberation loops | 3 / 1 |
Major parameter-bearing components include a 4,128,768-parameter convolution front end, a 3,543,552-parameter recurrent memory, 50,430,209 parameters in the cell mutators, and separate 198,912-parameter byte embedding and readout matrices. These values describe the head; they do not include graph nodes or edges.
The matching
checkpoint manifest
contains the named tensors, topology, optimizer state, data cursor, and RNG
state needed by the custom Beerus runtime.
The immutable base is
beerus_frontier30_extracted_state.state.safetensors.
| Property | Frozen value |
|---|---|
| State size | 13,025,936,994 bytes |
| Nodes | 65,927,096 |
| Directed sparse edges | 2,473,332,841 |
| Active context orders | 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 96, 128 |

| Hash seed | 0 |
| State SHA-256 | 2a917f178bc0f957a7b0acf0f4ab9741aabbf2b4999bb086de382d41682fb4cb |
The safetensors file includes the graph itself, not merely a summary:
| Tensor | Dtype and shape | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
frontier30.csr_indptr | uint64[65,927,097] | CSR edge offsets |
frontier30.target_byte | uint8[2,473,332,841] | edge targets |
frontier30.pheromone_weight | float32[2,473,332,841] | learned edge weights |
frontier30.source_degree | uint16[65,927,096] | per-node out-degree |
It also carries scalar integrity and topology tensors. The
public manifest
binds the file size, checksum, node count, edge count, orders, and immutability
rules. Geometry, edge targets, and base pheromones are frozen; new capability is
added through reversible sidecars rather than reshaping this base.
The first public capability sidecar is
beerus_frontier30_capability_transfer_overlay_v1.safetensors.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Size | 102,729,848 bytes |
| Sparse nodes | 1,650,183 |
| Sparse existing edges | 2,496,126 |
| Existing-edge event coverage | 98.0671% |
| Selected evaluation strength | 0.25 |
| SHA-256 | dd62fc0fcd20b33ac7358ca867295b18d2e30adeaf098684c9036d82a9116fed |
The sidecar contains no raw source payload and no identity conditioning. Its
source lineage is recorded as a BulmaX bridge corpus, while receiving_model,
answer_owner, and runtime identity remain Beerus.
The overlay passed held-out graph-only screening. At the selected strength:
| Split | Base NLL | Overlay NLL | Base top-1 | Overlay top-1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Validation | 2.096293 | 1.723405 | 0.405811 | 0.485461 |
| Test | 2.122286 | 1.725904 | 0.401120 | 0.484459 |
The shuffled-overlay test NLL was 2.350196, supporting that the gain depends on the learned graph associations rather than added score mass alone. Text, audio, and vision source strata passed the eligible graph-only gates. These are source-stratified byte-graph results, not proof that Beerus can directly see, hear, or operate a robot. Mixed and robotics strata lacked enough held-out rows for a claim.
The durable step-684020 head has not yet been promoted as a trained Frontier30 consumer. A 52,801-parameter order-aware reader is staged for a controlled campaign with the head and graph frozen. Until real-graph, shuffled-graph, and graph-off controls pass, the graph results must not be reported as end-to-end Beerus reasoning or runtime memory capability.
raw bytes
-> embedding + causal convolution + recurrent memory
-> Beerus locally regulated swarm cortex
-> byte readout
frozen Frontier30 graph
-> order-aware retrieval
-> versioned overlay
-> small gated reader (pending trained promotion)
-> Beerus swarm input
The head checkpoint, graph base, overlay, and future adapter are independent rollback units. The graph is never counted as neural parameters, and an overlay does not overwrite the frozen base.
Beerus is research software for byte-level recurrent modeling, swarm routing, persistent graph memory, controlled graph-conditioned generation, and CPU/CUDA/Intel-XPU runtime experiments. Loading requires the custom Beerus source and exact artifact manifests.
