Raiff1982/codette-llama-3.1-8b-openvino
codette-llama-3.1-8b-openvino is a text generation model from Raiff1982. Use it when you need the model to write or continue text. It is set up for openvino. The card lists the license as llama3.1.
OpenVINO GenAI INT4 build of the Codette reasoning engine's base model, optimized for local inference on Intel Arc GPUs / NPUs. This is the backend that powers Codette v3.0.

meta-llama/Llama-3.1-8B-Instructopenvino-genai LLMPipelineopenvino_genai.AdapterConfig — see Raiff1982/codette-lora-adapters (safetensors/ folder)| Metric | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sustained throughput | 9.3 tok/s | Intel Arc 140V (8GB UMA iGPU), reasoning-length generations |
| GPQA-main 0-shot (reason mode, n=100) | 34.0% | vs 25.0% random, 39% GPT-4 0-shot |
| GPQA-main 0-shot (answer-only) | 25.4% | = chance; documents that reasoning tokens, not the backend, drive the score |
| First load | ~140s | Arc kernel compile; cached loads ~20s |
GPQA numbers are reported honestly: answer-only prompting sits at chance for this model class regardless of backend; the gain comes from reason-then-answer format. See the repo changelog.

When run inside the full Codette stack, every response emits a LiveCognitionState — an immutable per-turn self-report built exclusively from measured signals: epistemic tension across the active perspective adapters, coherence, input-sycophancy pressure, AEGIS ethical alignment (EMA over the session), render fidelity, and hardware pressure. Each field carries a provenance tag, and the integrity rule is enforced in code: signals that are not measured are omitted, never fabricated.
