Yeah so tbh this is just my shitty way of getting around having to pay for a subscription at the moment. Main reason is because my interest ebbs and flows with this stuff.
Anyways, I'll be posting my findings/tests of various models that have been ranked "high" in the RP community.
System Specs: RTX 3060ti 8GB VRAM Ryzen 5 3600 32 GB System Ram Windows 11 Running SillyTavern mostly with koboldcpp as the backend. GGUF file types mostly, somewhere in the 4-5 quant range. If backend or quant is different, I'll make sure to call it out.
