Noisy_Element

This version is almost like VALite, if VALite was strictly an LCM checkpoint, or used VAA v1.0 instead of VAA v2.0.

This is essentially an LCM version of Victorian Anime Art, with some slight differences.

For one, this was made using mostly VAA v1.0 stuff, as opposed to version 2.0 for Victorian Anime Art. As a result of that, it's not quite up to par as far as the Victorian Anime theme I was going for.

This model has a VAE already baked into it and doesn't require an external LCM LoRA to get good results.

Noisy_Element Recommended usage

Set the sampler to LCM, decrease the CFG to no more than about 2, and reduce the steps to around 8. Enter prompt as normal and generate as normal. I've noted that in hires fix, a denoising strength of 0.7 can often mess things up. If it happens to you, I recommend lowering the denoising strength to about 0.4-0.5.

It has been noted that it can work on other samplers and higher CFG, but it tends to give weird artifacts in the generated images. Best bet is to increase the steps to around 30+ and hope something good comes out, if you plan to try other samplers.

I tried to train this model to make good hands, but being an SD1.5 model, hands are still a mixed bag at best. So, if you know a good method to get consistent hands, I recommend using that method here too. Same thing with feet.

Victorian Anime Art SD1.5

VAA

To be blunt, this model is essentially 50% Victorian Oil Painting, and 50% anime. It could go either way depending on the prompt. No VAE required, compatible with LCM (if you include the LCM LoRA).

VALite

This version was intended to be more anime and less oil painting. If I had to put a ratio on it, I'd say it was 75% anime, 25% oil painting. But I believe it could go either way, depending on the prompt, and if you incorporate the VAA v2.0 LoRA with it. No VAE needed, and also LCM compatible if you use the appropriate LoRA and settings.

Summary for VAA/VALite

The goal of this model is to produce art with a Victorian oil-painting mixed with anime aesthetic. VAA and VALite were trained on the VAA v2.0 standard at varying degrees, with VALite being more anime and less oil painting. Further training might be necessary to go heavy into the Victorian oil painting aesthetic.

All models have a VAE already baked in, and are compatible with LCM samplers--provided you also use an LCM LoRA. Like with Noisy_Element, I attempted to train these models to get decent hands, but it's a mixed bag at best, I find.

Recommended usage

Non-LCM samplers: Do as you normally do with standard SD.15 checkpoints, and it should work.

LCM samplers: apply in the appropriate LCM LoRA, set the CFG to 1-2, lower steps to about 6-10. If using ADetailer, be sure to also apply the LCM LoRA in the prompt, if you're using a different prompt.

Version differences

My intent was for VAA to be more Victorian oil painting and less anime, but at times, it seems like it's 50-50; my intent for VALite was to be more anime and less Victorian oil painting, but it feels like it's 75-25. So, from my perspective, the differences seem a bit subtle, depending on what you're doing. To be fair though, I have yet to invoke the prompt "Victorian oil painting", but I have invoked "Mona Lisa" sometimes and have been surprised with the results. Also trying prompts like "Monet" (the painter), "Da Vinci", and other such Renaissance/Victorian era artists might yield some surprising results. Best to experiment and see what works for you. If you want more Victorian Oil painting as much as I do, you could try using the Victorian Anime Art LoRAs and see if that helps; they're good but somewhat flawed, so I wouldn't recommend using weights more than 0.7 on them. It's probably high time for me to develop a better VAA v3.0 standard. If I do that, I'll try to make a more oil-painting based model with that and upload it here.
