Catherine Zeta-Jones, born on September 25, 1969, in Swansea, Wales, is a celebrated Welsh actress known for her versatility and captivating performances. She gained international fame with her role in "The Mask of Zorro" (1998) and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "Chicago" (2002). Zeta-Jones has starred in numerous successful films, including "Traffic" (2000), "Ocean's Twelve" (2004), and "The Terminal" (2004). She is married to actor Michael Douglas, and they have two children together. Beyond her acting career, she has been recognized for her humanitarian work and was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2010.
