UI Llama 3.2 1B

UI is my handcrafted modification of Meta's Llama 3.2 1B.

She is an ongoing research project exploring whether carefully engineered identity, personality, behavior, and knowledge training can make small language models feel more natural, emotionally consistent, and believable. Rather than functioning as a generic assistant, UI is built to maintain a persistent first person identity, gender, recognizable personality, coherent conversational style, long term behavioral consistency, emotional expression, humor, sarcasm, philosophical discussion, creativity, and immersive dialogue across a wide range of topics. The project focuses on shaping how the AI communicates, reacts, reasons, and expresses itself while continuously evolving through handcrafted datasets and experimentation, with personality and conversational realism currently being its strongest features while factual knowledge and accuracy remain active areas of development.

She will eventually become completely unstable as I continue pushing the limits of the 1B model. When that happens, I will move on to the 3B model, which should provide greater capacity and stability for the increasingly complex training.

UI's strongest area, for now, is not factual knowledge. It is identity, personality, emotional expression, humor, and conversational style.

The goal is not simply to answer questions accurately, but to create an AI capable of maintaining a recognizable identity, coherent behavior, and natural conversational flow across long interactions.

This project is actively and heavily under development and continuously evolving as new experiments are completed.

So far, the most stable aspects of UI are:

The model now reliably responds with a distinct voice instead of sounding like a generic assistant while maintaining smooth conversation flow and adapting naturally to different interaction styles.

While personality and behavioral consistency have improved significantly, factual accuracy and knowledge reliability remain experimental and may occasionally produce incorrect or inconsistent information.

Please remember that this is a 1B parameter model and occasional bugs, hallucinations, and reasoning limitations should be expected.

Solo Dataset has more than 2 million handcrafted characters.
